WELCOME TO UKON CAREERS

Where careers, culture and community come together

Empowering career guidance and motivational support — powered by the energy and creativity of carnival arts.

ABOUT UKON CAREERS

A holistic, community-centred model

UKON Careers, established in May 2014 as a Community Interest Company (C.I.C), began with a mission to provide empowering career guidance and motivational support for young people and the broader community. By blending career development with carnival arts, we deliver a holistic, community-centred model where art, education, careers and employment intersect.

WHAT DRIVES US

Our Mission, Vision & Opportunities

Our Mission

Our mission is to deliver inspiring projects that promote community cohesion, inclusion, and well-being. By developing carnival arts locally and nationally, we engage people of all backgrounds, fostering skills, cultural appreciation, and stronger communities.

Our Vision

We envision thriving, inclusive communities where individuals achieve their full potential. Through carnival arts, we reduce poverty, promote safety, and foster cultural understanding — supporting employability, mental health, and the reduction of violence in safe, expressive spaces.

Opportunities

UKON Careers is committed to delivering motivational and inspiring projects that promote community cohesion and inclusion — offering volunteering, work experience, internships and apprenticeships to help people reach their goals.
